The Salamanca Cathedral Archive Service is responsible for the storage of all documents published by the Cathedral of Salamanca in the course of its activities. Through this service, information contained in Cathedral documents, which have been carefully preserved for hundreds of years, are made available for consultation. The Cathedral archives also include collections of documents from other institutions that the Cathedral has patronized or administered. This service also is responsable for the preservation and public acessibility of the materials contained in the Cathedral Libraries (the antique collection, the modern collection, and the periodicals section).

From Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m, except on oficial holidays.

Free (you must show an official identity card). There is a help desk in the Researchers’ Room and consultations can also be made by telephone or by mail (ordinary or e-mail).
